InfoGuard provides high-performance encryption solutions for secure data exchange in optical networks that, thanks to their flexible architecture, are capable of handling the most diverse of applications in MAN, WAN and SAN environments at data rates of up to 10 gigabits per second. The encryption devices are perfectly tap-proof on point-to-point links, whether using dark fibres or in CWDM/DWDM networks.

InfoGuard encryption devices are entirely transparent within the network. Their outstanding performance, i.e. 100% encryption throughput, and their extremely low latency of <5µs allow them to be used even in time-critical applications and heavy-load links.
High Flexibility
Thanks to the flexible and modular architecture, different types of applications in MAN, WAN und SAN environments can be processed at data rates of up to 10 Gbps. The encryption devices are perfectly tap-proof in point-to-point links ? whether as dark fibres or in CWDM/DWDM networks. Data transmission uses conventional transceivers available for various distances and wavelengths.
Strong Data Encryption
The one-of-a-kind high-security architecture meets the highest demands, as is required in sensitive environments. That?s why our security solutions are developed in strict adherence to the «Common Criteria» and «FIPS 140-2». Data encryption is performed using the public Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with a 128 or 256-bit key length. The communication keys automatically change every few minutes without link disruption or any loss of performance.
High Availability
All products have been explicitly designed for long-term use, requiring virtually no maintenance. In order to guarantee disruption-free operation at all times, the devices are equipped with a redundant power supply and ventilation, both accessible on the front and hot-pluggable. To users wishing to depend entirely on the devices? high availability, InfoGuard provides individually configurable maintenance services - at plannable cost.
