LISCON Managed Desktops
Use your existing PCs as Thin Clients and manage them centrally
This innovative LISCON product takes the last problem of entering the server-based computing world away: the need to buy a thin client. With LMD, you do not have to replace your existing PCs, but you can continue using them without the hassle of administering a fat client network.
LISCON Managed Desktop is available on bootable CD-ROM as a network-boot version. It can be run ?live? from the distribution medium without installation, or installed permanently on the PC?s hard drive.
Even if the existing PCs are very old, it makes sense to use LMD - a defective LMD-PCs can be exchanged by a real thin client at any time without data loss. But as long as the PCs are functioning properly, the cost of the the thin client is saved and the time of investment is usually postponed for a significantly long time.
Client configuration and firmware images can also be managed comfortably with our LISCON Management Console (LMC).
