LISCON Thin Client X

The synthesis of flexibility and easy administration has a name: LISCON TC X is a real Thin Client but can access the PC World and is Windows XP compatible. Software which can not be run on the terminal server can be installed locally.

The TC X offers Citrix ICA Client with Program Neighbourhood, Thin Print, as well as MS Internet Explorer 6. like all the other LISCON solutions, administration is done via the LISCON Management Console or other management software products

  • Flexibility through a hybrid approach: Sometimes certain applications that are not terminal server compatible can rule out the use of Thin Clients. This is where the TC X comes in. Certain programs can be run on the local desktop while the rest is distributed in the server based architecture. Windows XP Embedded is compatible to Windows XP Professional, meaning Windows applications are run without problems. The local Flash medium offers sufficient storage to install your own applications
  • Internet: Local Web browsing with the integrated Internet Explorer, Media Player, Flash Plug in, possibility to install third plug ins making it indistinguishable from a regular PC.
  • Innovative Distribution Mechanism: The LISCON System is aiding you with a simple web based distribution and upgrade technology for software images to prepare your systems (installation of software). Even when the operating system crashes, LISCON recovery can instantly offer a functioning image.
  • Thin Hardware, Software. The TC X is noiseless and lacks any moving parts, guaranteeing a long life span. The system simulates scripting access to the local flash medium on the main storage; only the system administrator can access the system, making it safe from unauthorized modification.
